Story Time!
Once upon a time, in the kingdom of persia, there was a very brave Queen named Esther. Esther was secretly Jewish and thus the king did not know that she was Jewish. One day when a wicked man named Haman(BOOO!) made a plan to get rid of all the Jewish people, Esther had to make a tough choice. Should she stay silent or should she speak up to the kind even if that mean that she would be putting herself in danger? Esther knew that the only right thing to do is to speak up and do everything in her power to save her people. She told the king about Haman's(BOOO!) plans and because of her, her people were saved!

Read the Megillah
On Purim, we read the story of Queen Esther from the Megillah. Every time Haman’s name is mentioned, we use noisemakers (graggers) to drown it out!
