Rosh Hashanah
Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year! It is a special and important time to reflect and grow on the past year while also looking in to the future and plan good choices. During Rosh Hashanah people eat sweet foods such as apples and honey as a symbol for a sweet new year! Lastly, we also hear the shofar which reminds us to be our best selves.
Story Time!
Once upon a time, Benny the Bee was out looking for honey to bring back to its hive. But, as Rosh Hashanah approach he realized that he didn't have enough time to reflect on how to be kinder and a better version of himself for the upcoming year. Benny's friend Oren the Owl asked Benny, "How will you be kinder this year?" Benny decided that he will share all the honey that he gathered to bring back to his hive with all of his animal friends! As everyone was enjoying from the honey Benny felt that being kind made the new year even sweeter.
